SBA Lead CounselA graduate of the Washington College of Law at American University in Washington, D.C. In 1989, Mr. Quinn was appointed an Assistant District Attorney in the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office. He became a felony trial assistant in the Superior Court Trial Division, Major Case Unit, where he oversaw and prosecuted homicide and violent felony cases until his resignation in October 1998.
Upon entering private practice in 1998, Mr. Quinn began representing law enforcement associations. He is currently General Counsel to the Yonkers Police Association, the largest police department in the County of Westchester. He has also represented police officers in administrative and criminal matters from the following jurisdictions: Yonkers, Greenburgh, Hastings, Dobbs Ferry, Larchmont, Mount Vernon, White Plains, Eastchester, Harrison, Mamaroneck, Irvington and the Westchester County Department of Public Safety. He has also represented Court Officers and Corrections Officers from the County and State systems in a variety of legal matters.
Mr. Quinn is the President of Westchester County Brehon Law Society. He is a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association and the Westchester County Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in the Southern District of New York, the Eastern District of New York, and State of New York. He has successfully argued cases before the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court of the State of New York – Second Department, and the Public Employees Relations Board. Mr. Quinn resides in Ossining, New York, with his wife and three children.
